Multi-scale Urban Scenario Interface offers the framework of i_city as a web-based, scalable software system for energy planning which allows both economic and energy analyzes for rehabilitation and energy efficiency measures. MUSI is based on a 3D city model from individual buildings to entire cities. MUSI addresses three of the six fields of action defined in the i_city project, supporting the most important drivers and challenges for the urban area: sustainable urban development and energetic neighborhood concepts, information platform and urban simulation systems and financing and acceptance.
